Comments: Octavarium is out and it is awesome. Not just the music but the packaging as well. The artwork was done by Hugh Syme and it looks beautiful. There was a lot of mathematics involved with this cover and a lot of 'number mysticism'. Obviously the numbers 5 and 8 play a big role in the concept of the artwork (and in the concept of the music as well). I tried to create a wallpaper for each song but that didn't work out the way I wanted so you have these wallpapers which are connected in a way through the numbers I mentioned earlier. Another weird thing is that this is the eight series. There's coincidence for you. :) These wallpapers were created mainly with Photoshop but for some elements I used Bryce. Enjoy! (I created a few other wallpapers for this seris but they didn't 'make it' into this selection of eight wallpapers. You still find them on page eight of the miscellaneous wallpapers.)
